About John Mosher
John Mosher played a key role in developing Woodard Cleaning and Restoration into a market leader and cutting-edge company in its industry. He served in senior management positions in the company for 23 years, most recently as president and chief operating officer.
During John’s tenure at Woodard, the company’s revenues grew from $750,000 to $12,000,000 annual. His accomplishments toward this growth include:
- Established professional commercial sales force that grew annual revenue from $150,000 to $2,300,000
- Established professionals sales effort for counter staff, route drivers and location crew chiefs resulting an increase in add-on sales from 17% to 43%
- Led effort to establish a comprehensive marketing and advertising plan.
- Oversaw customer service, commercial sales, marketing, restoration sales, and production managers.
His activities in the cleaning and restoration industry include:
- President, St. Louis Carpet Cleaners Association
- International President, Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Institute (CUCI)
- International President, American Society for Cleaning & Restoration
- St. Louis Leader, The Blue Goose (association of insurance adjustors and restoration professionals)
In the community, John is a board member and past president of the St. Louis Teachers Recycling Center, and he has been a volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul Society for 10 years. He served as a head basketball coach for 17 years with youth teams at the grade-school and high-school levels.
John launched Successful Directions LLC in 2005 out of a desire to share with others what he has learned from experience, research and some outstanding mentors.
